A lean stomach is a great way to feel and look awesome and the Zero Belly Diet book by David Zinczenko can help you to achieve that goal even if you don’t believe it yourself.
The book follows on from previous books by David such as “The Abs Diet” and “Eat This, Not That”. It’s not a diet per say but a plan for eating healthy foods that will keep you full and increase you body’s fat burning engine! I’m believe that guys need fat (good fat) in order to have enough energy to perform throughout the day.
The Zero Belly Diet uses healthy fat, lean protein, and fiber to help you to target belly fat in 3 ways:
1. speed up your metabolism.
2. remove inflammation in your body.
3. turn off fat storing genes (focus on 9 power food groups).
Eating plans and recipes are included in the book and I was surprised that most of the recipes were similar to what I was already eating but had a better combination of fats, protein and fiber.
The plan consists of eating 3 meals, 1 snack, and 1 shake per day. Sometimes all we need is a little help and guidance; remember motivation will get you started but habit will keep you going!
