If you’re like most people you are probably beating yourself up when you fail at being a better you. “Finding the cause of a failure is easier in a fail-fast system, because the system reports the failure with as much information as possible as close to the time of failure as possible.
In a fault-tolerant system, the failure might go undetected, whereas in a system that is neither fault-tolerant nor fail-fast the failure might be temporarily hidden until it causes some seemingly unrelated problem later.” (Source: Wikipedia)
We have all spent months or even years going in through failure and learning cycles.
Why don’t we make the cycle shorter?
In order to build muscle you need to tear the muscle (fail at building muscle) and once the repair process begins the muscle becomes stronger.
Every time you fail at being a better you, realise the difference is what you do during the repair process. For example you didn’t stick to your eating plan but know what to do to start eating healthy immediately. How I learnt to fail fast. When I fail I have an awesome brother (Johnny) who motivates me to quickly end the failing cycle and start the repairing and building cycle again. Johnny will tell me how he is eating healthy, meditating, or exercising and the positive results he is reaping. I realise now that my brother is the master of failing fast! Let awesome 40s help you fail fast. Let the Awesome 40’s community (and 2 awesome Bros!) support and motivate you in the repair cycle and help you to fail quicker.
