Some days I feel great, other days not so great. I was recently wondering about the link between what I did yesterday and how I feel today. So I decided to create a simple ‘health thermometer’ in Microsoft Excel that allows me to select qualitative answers across several categories and the thermometer then shows me if I’m hot (totally awesome) or cold (not so awesome)! I’ve created the following categories:
- Sleep duration
- Sleep time
- Caloric intake
Each item in each category has a weighting associated so the better you score, the higher your awesomeness rating! I use this tool to check in occasionally to see if I’m on track with my goals. You can substitute the categories with your own goals if you want to.
